Welcome to TDW Academy
TDW Academy blends aspects of one-on-one teaching, & traditional schooling. Students attend on campus classes Mon-Thurs, 8:30am-2:00pm, with Friday's set for additional course work, tutoring and mentorships. We have university-style scheduling. Students register for courses on a semester-by-semester basis and may register for a full schedule of courses. We have open enrollment year-round for students with immediate educational needs.
Our combined grade levels work with a focus on the overall success of the student in mind. Our curriculum covers 9th through 12th grades. We offer fully accredited courses through our various partnerships which we have forged with other educational organizations. Our curriculum is in compliance with all educational governing bodies, for graduation requirements for our students.

Entrepreneurial Curriculum: This curriculum is a new approach to innovative ideas in the field of education. What is Entrepreneurial education? It is defined as a collection of formalized teachings that informs, trains, and educates anyone interested in participating in socioeconomic development through a project to promote entrepreneurship awareness, business creation, or small business development. seeking to foster self-esteem and confidence by drawing on the individual’s talents and creativity, while building the relevant skills and values that will assist students in expanding their perspectives on schooling and opportunities beyond. Methodologies are based on the use of personal, behavioral, motivational, attitudinal and career planning activities. As part of this curriculum, we have courses in Personal Branding, Marketing Strategies, and establishing LLC Branding, which are in compliance with Name, Imaging, & Likeness (NIL) laws. Through partnerships with small business owners and nonprofit organizations, we help foster the idea of today's students.

Dual Enrollment: The term dual enrollment refers to students being enrolled—concurrently—in two distinct academic programs or educational institutions. Our staff will help guide the student with the college of choice, to ensure the most adequate academic structure in pursuing college credit. This program is available to prospective students which enter into an agreement with the college of choice on a per credit hour basis. Contact our staff for further details on this program and per credit hour associated fees by the college or university of your choice.

 Entrepreneurship Program, students grow their entrepreneurial mindsets and skills as they apply their passions and strengths to creatively solve societal challenges. Youth design their solution through the design thinking process, carry out market research, create a sustainable business model, and present their idea in a culminating pitch presentation. This program is tuition based. Please discuss your options for scholarships and financing for this program with our administrative staff.

TDW Academy has year round open enrollment.  There are available seats for potential students within our combined grade levels(9th/10th, 11th/12th) each semester. COVID-19 GUIDELINES

We continue to follow the guidelines of the CDC on being COVID Free. Updated to recommend universal indoor masking for all students, staff, teachers, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status. Added recommendation for fully vaccinated people who have a known exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 to be tested 3-5 days after exposure, regardless of whether they have symptoms.

Our students and staff are looking forward to the Thanksgiving Break (November 26th through 29th) regular classes will resume on December 2nd. Students and Staff will be busy with testing and preparations for the end of Fall Semester & the start of Winter Session. Our Christmas Break will commence on December 18th, with our students and staff enjoying much needed time with family. Dont forget these important dates: Thanksgiving Break- 11/26-11/29 Classes resume 12/02 Winter Session begins 12/02/2024 Christmas Holiday Break- 12/19/24 thru 01/14/25 Classes resume 01/14/25 Stay tuned to further updates for inclement weather and school closings. TDW ACADEMY GAMING & TECHNOLOGY 
Teaching students 21st-century skills, such as creative problem solving, is important for the future workforce, the benefits of videogames include improved powers of concentration, creativity, memory, languages and teamwork. Videogaming can make it easier to learn educational contents and develop cognitive skills.
Educational games can be designed to improve motivation and engagement, providing students with more engaged time on task.  As part of the ever-growing development of the learning needs of students, we offer gaming as an extension of our STEM & STEAM learning.
